Many things in life come and go, this shapes our journey as humans and who we are. Orphans, however, lose an essential part of their lives, losing their parents at an early stage. This takes a toll on both the child’s mental and physical development. A parent gives a child a form of security or protection, being the primary caregiver to someone who has yet to understand life and the world.
Not having such a presence creates a vacuum in a child’s life that can affect their behaviour, their perception and their readiness for life in the future.
